Techspan’s Peacock wins a Best in Category at the Pride in Print Awards!

Following 2020’s success with the ‘Techspan Tui’ we were determined to create another wonderful piece of art to show off the creative skills of each of our partners as well as the potential of foiling in print. After months of hard work and collaboration, The Peacock was made. It is a stunning piece which shows off the photography of Bernadette Fastnedge and embellishes each plume of colour with a shinning foil treatment. After much effort to create the piece, we are thrilled to have been awarded a total of three medals at the recent New Zealand Pride in Print Awards 2022. Two of those medals being a Gold, and one being a Best in Category for Print Industry Promotion!

We truly believe that our Peacock shows the creative potential for foiling in print and hope that it can give inspiration to artists and designers to build upon and push this potential further than ever before. A huge thank you is in order for each and every individual and business that collaborated with us on this project, most of all to our graphic designer Randolf Neueli – who sadly passed away before the project reached it’s conclusion, but we know he would have been so proud of the finished result.

A thank you to all of our partners:
